Christmas Services

We begin our Christmas celebrations with our very popular Carol Service on 16th December, candlelight Carols accompanied by the magnificent Norwich Community Choir and Hellesdon & Sprowston Brass Band. At. Mary & St. Margarets, 6pm.

On the 17th December we head to the Brickmakers public house on Sprowston road, for drinks, carols, and the Christmas story as you’ve never seen it before! The Christmas extravaganza begins at 2pm, we’ll be hosting the 3pm slot.

On Christmas Eve we have our popular Christingle services at 4pm & 6pm at St. Mary & St. Margarets, why not dress up as a character from the Christmas story?

If you prefer a quieter service, join us as we see in Christmas Day with Midnight Mass, 11.30pm at St. Cuthbert’s.

On the big day itself we have a family communion service, 9.30am at St. Cuthbert’s, bring a present to be blessed! We also have a more traditional Christmas communion, which begins at 10.30am at St. Mary & St. Margaret’s.

Angels everywhere

In December we’ll be surrounded by Angels! Both St. Mary & St.Margaret’s and St.Cuthbert’s will be playing host to some very special Angels from 1st December until the New Year. There is an exhibition at St. Cuthbert’s of Angels made by various community groups, as well as a smaller exhibition at St. Mary & St. Margaret’s. Also at St. Mary & St. Margarets, you can remember a loved one by placing a prayer or message on our Christmas Tree, kindly provided by John Brown Funeral Services, and take away a little knitted angel.

St. Cuthbert’s is open from 10am – 8pm

St. Mary & St. Margaret’s from 10am – 3pm
