Christmas is coming, which means Messy Christmas! Come and join us for some festive messy fun!
Wednesdays at St. Cuthbert’s Church.
12noon – 12.45pm for four weeks. Feel free to bring your own lunch so we can enjoy fellowship together after each session.
These are the reflection themes:
1) 29 Nov. The Angel Visits Zechariah;
In the Gospel of Luke, the angel Gabriel appears to Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, to announce the birth of John (Luke 1:11-20).
2) 06 Dec. The Angel Visits Mary;
The same angel Gabriel appears to the Virgin Mary to announce the birth of Jesus (Luke 1:26-38).
3) 13 Dec. The Angel Visits Joseph;
In the Gospel of Matthew, an angel appears to Joseph in a dream to assure him of Mary’s virgin pregnancy and instructs him to take Mary as his wife and name the child Jesus (Matthew 1:18-25).
4) 20 Dec. The Angels Visit The Shepherds.
In Luke 2:8-20, an angel of the Lord appears to shepherds in the fields to announce the birth of Jesus and is joined by a multitude of the heavenly host praising God.
In December we’ll be surrounded by Angels! Both St. Mary & St.Margaret’s and St.Cuthbert’s will be playing host to some very special Angels from 1st December until the New Year.
