Growing Together
We welcome everybody as full members of our church family, and we try to make sure that children feel able to participate in Sunday worship in whatever way feels right. See below for more details.
We offer Children’s Worship at St Cuthbert’s alongside the 9:30 am service, as well as running occasional Holiday Clubs and the ever-popular Messy Church at key times of the year, particularly during Christmas and Easter.
On a Sunday we explore some of the themes from the bible readings in a variety of ways with songs, activities, games and conversation; we all learn and grow from one another.
During Communion services, children join the rest of the congregation for the second part of the service and can choose to sit either with their parents or with those who have been helping them during their activities.
On the first Sunday of each month and on special occasions there is an informal ‘All Age’ Worship where we all join together. Then on the 3rd Sunday we join together for a Family Service.
