Eco Church Bronze Award is a nationally recognised award from A Rocha UK, reflecting a church’s commitment to caring for God’s creation across the whole life of the church. It is not simply about planting flowers or looking after our gardens.
To achieve the award, churches are assessed across five key areas: Worship and Teaching, Buildings and Energy, Land and Nature, Community and Global Engagement, and Lifestyle. Achieving Bronze recognises the collective efforts and actions being taken across all these areas to embed care for creation into church life and our wider community.
