Children’s Worship

We welcome all children as full members of our church family – we believe that everyone is welcome to participate in worship in whatever way is appropriate for them.

We offer Children’s Worship at St Cuthbert’s alongside the 9.30am Holy Communion service.

We will explore some of the themes from the Bible Readings in a variety of ways with songs, activities, games and conversation. We encourage children to share their understanding and insights, so that we can all learn from one another.

Children’s Worship joins the rest of the congregation for the second part of Holy Communion¬† and children choose to sit either with their parents or with those who have been helping them in the first part.

The PCC has agreed that baptised children are welcome, after preparation, to receive Holy Communion.

On the first Sunday of each month and on special occaisions there is “All age” worship, when we join together in a more relaxed service
